What’s Your Intuition Telling You?

Are you hearing something whispering inside of you that contradicts what’s being told to you by those that have perceived authority outside of you? That could be your intuition. Lean in.

Intuition encourages us to think differently on behalf of our children. Child development and learning are not linear and cannot be standardized though the mainstream medical industrial and educational systems would have you believe otherwise. It’s time for change and change has been coming. Developmental sovereignty is now. 

What is developmental sovereignty? It is being empowered to trust our intuition and act on it. It is trusting our children’s wisdoms and having a willingness to listen deeply to what the child before us is asking of us. Can we be brave enough to shed away what is perceived as normal to embrace the extraordinary? Words matter. When someone tries to label or diagnose your child, instead of perceiving your child as abnormal, look at him with fresh eyes and from the perspective that he is extraordinary. How would you proceed from that perspective? One stems from love, the other from fear. You get to choose.
