Her words haunted me but I kept up the 'good fight' with the school system and my struggling child as the stress level in our house grew. I pulled my son out of his charter school and put him in an on-line web academy, 'That would solve the problem!' I lied to myself. Finally I did the unthinkable and pulled my son out of school! He is finishing his GED at the community college, he landed two part-time jobs in the field he wants to pursue (auto racing) and he is excelling beyond my dreams! My biggest regret was waiting. I know it's terrifying to escape the schooling matrix but it has been the best thing for our family and my son. Do not wait like I did.
